The company also do citrus, apricots, figs, and pomegranates.
“Sweet potatoes is another one we are very excited about and already this season we are on course for 50 containers in our first year of testing the waters”, Mr Kamal Ghabbour, CEO of GB Farms says about their new challenge.
“Everyone in our company understands exactly how important their role is in reaching that one shared main purpose, which is to make our customers’ lives easier. We have a long history of supplying our clients with produce that meets and exceeds their expectations, which in turn enabled our company to earn a position at the top of the list of suppliers to some of the major global players.
This focus on customers’ needs coupled with our culture of full transparency and extreme emphasis on food safety are what make GB Farms one of the most trusted market leaders”.
GB Farms regularly exhibits at Asia Fruit Logistica, as it is one of the key ways to reach new customers and meet existing ones. Mr Ghabbour explains: “We look to connect with our partners all over the world whether they are suppliers, buyers or service providers and Fruit Logistica provides the perfect platform for that. It’s always exciting to get exposed to the latest technologies related to the broad field of agriculture. We have been exhibiting in AFL for many years now and will continue doing so as the Hong Kong and Berlin exhibitions are unmissable to us”.
