New president for Italia Ortofrutta

Italia Ortofrutta - Unione Nazionale brings together 132 producer organizations, representing a combined turnover of 1, 9 billion.

Italia Ortofrutta, formed by the merger of UIAPOA and UNACOA, (our info of 9.01), has elected its new president.

Italia Ortofrutta - Unione Nazionale includes 132 producer organizations and associations. Cumulative sales account for about 1.9 billion euros, or between 15 and 20% of national production.

Meeting in Rome, the new board of directors

has unanimously elected Ibrahim Saadeh as President. Saadeh started his career in the cooperative Cor di Lavezzola then joined the engineering department at Confederazione Italiana Agricoltori (CIA) before taking the helm of O. P. Corer (renamed PEMPACORER in 2004).
