Asparagus exports from Peru exceed $49 million until March

Peruvian asparagus exports in the first 3 months of 2023 demonstrate a slight increase in volume and value, compared to the same term in 2022. 

Between January and March 2023, the country exported 14.980.288 kilos of the veg worth $49.039.257, informs Agrodata Perú.

In the same term of 2022, Peru shipped 14.202.084 kilos of asparagus for $42.735.536.

In the first two months of 2023, the main destination for said supplies was the United States (43% of total value), followed by the United Kingdom (28%) the Netherlands (16%), and Spain (8%).
