In Spain, the average price of onions in the wholesale market has increased by 73% in the last 6 months, going from 0.29 euros per kilo to 0.50 euros, according to the price panel of the main wholesale markets in the country with date of June 28, 2022, compared to those of December 31, 2021. In Spain, the average price of onions in the wholesale market has increased by 73% in the last 6 months, going from 0.29 euros per kilo to 0.50 euros, according to the price panel of the main wholesale markets in the country with date of June 28, 2022, compared to those of December 31, 2021.
Among the agricultural products compared between both dates, the increase in potatoes also stands out, which in turn increased by 25%, going from 0.42 euros to 0.52 euros per kilo; the tomato, which has risen from 0.93 euros per kilo to 1.13 (+22%); and green peppers (+13%).
