Direct HK: The Polish Grupa Sad Export looking for new markets

Exhibitor for the first time on Asia FL, the Polish company Grupa Sad Export is one of the most important players in the apple industry.

Group of 18 producers with orchards extending over 500 hectares in the regions of Grojec, Warka, Sandomierz, Bledow. Grupa Sad Export produces about 10,000 tonnes of apples per year.

The Manager, Michal Glijer, specifies that this first participation in the exhibition aims to  finding new customers. The effects of the Russian embargo threatens to hamper the development of the group while Asian markets are very dynamic.

"Here, a lot of  apples arrive New Zealand, the quality is good, but we think we can provide a high quality apple at a competitive price" said Michal Glijer.
