Vegetables in Russia are 3 times cheaper than in Ukraine
According to the latest data this week prices for vegetables within Russian market were much lower than within Ukrainian one. There was 30,2 % difference registered between whole sale prices for cabbage, onions, carrots, potatoes and beet inside Russian and Ukrainian vegetables markets. The biggest price gap has been observed regarding onions – 28%; while the smallest difference concerned prices for carrots – only 4%. Prices for cabbage and beet were 26% higher in Ukrainian market comparing to the Russian one.
