The dried fruit sector turned to the Far East

With its slogan "We dry, you try", the advocacy group of Turkish dried fruits participated in the SIAL who was in China, in Shanghai from May 5 to 7.
This activity is part of a broad campaign in the countries of the Far East of traditional export products, such as dried figs, raisins, dried apricots and pistachios.
This sector projects in 2023 to export $ 3 billion of dry fruits to Asian countries and multiply promotional activities to publicize the Turkish products.
In recent years, the export of Turkish dried fruits increased from 7 million in 2013 to over 9 million in 2015. The lion's share is held by the dried fig and promoting this result seems to have been decisive in this increase.
