Les Fraiches du Quebec : Association of 700 strawberries and raspberries producers.
Wintry frost and an exceptionally soft April allowed the cultures to anticipate the normal agricultural calendar.
Producers consider that this is very special season where all varieties have a peak of production at the same time.
One week in advance for strawberries, two weeks for raspberries and three weeks for blackcurrants: producers glimpse an exceptional year.
In its weekly harvests report, Horticulture Council of Québec plans that the first harvests of cornflowers should begin by July 5th in Montreal and in week 10 for Quebec.
