Mulder Onions: “This season is a challenge, but we’ll deliver onions to our customers”

Mulder Onions, a Dutch company, specializes in the export of onions and potatoes, they also work with garlic, carrots, cabbage and other vegetables. Customers of Mulder Onions vary between supermarkets, pre-packers, wholesalers and industrial peelers. Company sells to Europe, Africa, Far East and even Central and South of America.

“This season everyone has less harvest than usually. I do not remember any similar year. Situation is unusual. With less harvest Dutch stock may be finished in the coming months. In Mulder Onions we are used to face complicated situations. This season is more like a challenge for us, but we will deliver onions to our customers”, - shares Rene Vanwersch.

Mulder Onions is not only exporter but also they import onions from different countries in order to guarantee top quality onions year-round. Rene explains that this year they are importing more than usually. Therefore they are still able to serve their customer’s needs. Company can offer Spanish onions from July until March and also imports from January to July from New Zealand, Australia, Egypt, India, South Africa and South America. A part from that Mulder Onions offers customers French, German and Austrian onions, as well as peeled onions from Poland
