NewCo PER.A. , the organization of the largest industry in the world of Pear

This new structure includes 22 Italian companies which together represent about 1,000 pear growers who harvest 200,000 tons of pears.

NewCo PER.A, the new structure is the largest organization in the world in terms of production, selection and improvement of the pear .

It was created in Bologna , an important city in the culture of pear in Italy ( the third largest producer, and the first producer in the EU28 ) and will be coordinated by Luca Granata .

The 22 companies are : Agrintesa, Alegra, Apo Conerpo, Apo Scaligera, Apol Industriale, ATI Frutticoltori, Azienda agricola Flli Visentini, Diamantina, Fruit Modena Group, Frutteto, Iaffa, Italfrutta, La Buona Frutta, Naturitalia, Op Ferrara, Op Francescon, Opera, Orogel Fresco, Ortolani Cofri, PatFrut, POV, S. Adriano.
