Strong increase in grapes exports

Peruvian producers expect an increase of over 30% of exports for this year.
Grapes exports from Peru should known a high increase by the end of the 2010-2011 season.
The 2010-2011 season started in October and will end in April. For the beginning of the season from October to December 2010, exports of grapes totaled 53,000 tons, an increase of 29% over the previous season.
The association of Peruvian producers, Provib expected to grow by more than 30% by the end of the campaign.
The main destinations for Peruvian grapes are the United States, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Russia, the United Kingdom, Spain and China.
