Participants held scheduled business meetings to develop new export partnerships.
South Korea’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (MAFRA) hosted the Buy Korean Food+ (BKF+) 2026 business matching event to support agricultural export growth by connecting domestic suppliers directly with overseas buyers.
According to the ministry, the event brought together 143 buyers from 45 countries and 279 Korean exporting companies, creating opportunities to negotiate supply contracts and expand distribution networks for agricultural products.
Officials explained that the programme focuses on practical trade development by organising scheduled business meetings and product presentations aimed at strengthening long-term commercial relationships. The initiative forms part of national efforts to diversify export destinations and increase the global presence of Korean agricultural products.
MAFRA noted that structured buyer-seller engagement is being used as a tool to improve market access and support stable export performance, particularly as producers seek new opportunities in competitive international markets.
