Exports of fruits and vegetables increased

4% increase in volume and 19% in value for Spanish exports of fruits and vegetables in November.
Good news for exports of fruits and vegetables, increased by 4% in volume and 19% in value, compared to November 2011: in other terms, 1.19 million tons and 1.039 million euros, according to data from the Ministry of Economy. Vegetable exports amounted to 439,996 tonnes (-12.5%) for a value of 432 million euros (+15.6%), while fruit exports amounted to 758,819 tonnes (+17%) and 608 million euros (+22%).
From January 2012 to November 2012, Spanish exports of fruits and vegetables increased by 6.5% in volume and 11.7% in value, totaling 9.7 million tons and 8.46 million euros.
