CASI has seen a boom in the cherry tomatoes and plans to expand into new markets.
The cooperative, which is the European leader in tomatoes with 225 million kilos sold last year, has recorded ever increasing demands for cherry tomato varieties and cocktail tomato .
CASI plans to sell 3 million kilos of cherry tomatoes and 1.4 million kilos of cherry tomatoes.
The cooperative farms 25 hectares and 10 cherry tomatoes tomato cocktail. Cherry tomatoes will be marketed throughout Europe and tomato cocktail mainly in Germany.
CASI cooperative plans to consolidate its presence in the Russian market. Other markets have expressed interest, including China and the Middle East. The presence of CASI at Fruit Attraction is an opportunity to intensify contacts with international actors.
