Vietnamese authorities are working to deepen cooperation with Japanese partners to develop high-quality agricultural production zones aligned with Japanese standards and improve market access for locally produced farm goods.
According to government officials, the cooperation framework for the 2026-2030 period focuses on attracting Japanese investment into advanced agricultural projects and introducing modern production systems designed to raise efficiency and product consistency. The initiative includes the development of specialised farming areas that follow strict technical and environmental requirements, reflecting growing demand for reliable and traceable supply.
Authorities indicated that the partnership also aims to strengthen distribution channels linking production zones with domestic and export markets. Improving logistics coordination and applying modern farming practices are expected to support more stable output and help producers meet the quality and safety standards required in international trade.
Officials noted that cooperation with Japanese partners is intended to support long-term agricultural development by promoting technology adoption, improving production management and enhancing the competitiveness of Vietnamese agricultural products in overseas markets.
