Europêch Crop forecasts

Estimates include good levels of production for peaches and nectarines and very good for apricots.

Europêch announced at Medfel a positive harvest forecast with peaches and pectarines (2.99 Mt, + 7% on average over the past 5 years, 0% from 2011). The European total is 2.988 million tons - Italy 1.50 million tons, Spain 887,652 tons, France 290,710

Apricot production is very good (593,600 tons or 21% over 2011). Italy contributes  245,270 tons (+8%), France 170 158 (+11%), Spain 104 672 (+69%) and Greece 73 500 (+52%).
