APRICOTS & STONE FRUITS VARIETIES FROM FRANCE

In a 30 year period from 1980-2010, 614 apricot varieties were developed globally. Of these, 87 were developed in the US, 79 in France, 71 in Italy, 47 in China, 43 in Spain, 29 in the Czech Republic and 21 in Israel

Fruit quality comprises a large number of criteria: visual, organoleptic, nutritional and health value. Fruit quality is the result of good orchard management.

Keeping its leading positions in researches of new fruit varieties France is well known by companies which stem from collaboration between a nursery owners and the companies, specialized in the production of apricots.
