New agreement with the EU on farm produces

With this agreement, the Norwegian market is going to be more open to the European exporters.
An agreement of liberalization of the customs duties on certain farm produces was concluded between the European Union and Norway.
According to the European Commission, this agreement, in negotiation for 3 years "will allow the exporters of the EU to strengthen their positions on the Norwegian market ".
The country imports many farm produces, essentially from the EU, which saw that its exports towards Norway were multiplied by two between 2000 and 2007, in order to reach 1,6 billion euro.
The agreement concerns additional contingents in farm produces. The following products are concerned in particular: strawberries, potatoes and salad.
The corresponding commercial value of this agreement is considered at 50 millions €.
