The chain Lidl has multiplied by 10 its Spanish products purchase

With a new brand and organization of a Spanish week , Lidl will honor the products of the Iberian Peninsula in all countries where the company operates.

Lidl, already the first customer of Spanish fruit and vegetables (our info of 12/13/2013 ) , continues to expand its purchases in Spain.

 

Lidl has created the brand " Sol & Mar" which will offer Spanish food and announced its willingness to organize a Spanish week 2 times a year from this year on, in the 25 countries where the company operates.

 

Considerable increase in its purchases of Spanish food, which increased from EUR 14 million in 2013 to EUR 160 million in 2014, an increase by 11.4.

 

Lidl had last year 445 suppliers on Spanish soil and bought about 1 million tons of fruits and vegetables.
