Embargo for European fruits and vegetables starts acting in Russia

According to the recent data, starting from the 1^st of January 2015 plant quarantine law will come into effect in Russia. According to new law, Russian citizens are not allowed to import fruits and vegetables from European countries. Local officials specify that import ban includes fruits and vegetables delivery from Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia and European countries. It stands to mention that it is also prohibited to import seeds, potatoes and nursery transplants.
