The first exports of mangoes to the United States are planned

After the first mango export to Europe , Pakistan plans to launch its first exports to the United States.

 
 
 
The Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture said that the procedural and logistical arrangements are in place to  export mangoes to the U.S. from next season.
 

 
 
The arrival on the European and American markets underlines the willingness of country to invest in international markets. The minister expects that the export of mangoes reach U.S. $ 6 million by the end of next season.

 
 
 
With an annual production of over 1.5 million tons and growing demand around the world, mango sector has significant potential for growth. Pakistan is the 5th largest producer and  & third exporter of mangoes in the world.
