Phytosanitary control service has banned citrus delivery from Turkey
Phytosanitary control service has detected quarantine pest - Ceratitis capitata Wied, in 21 tons of Turkish citrus imported to Kiev Region (Ukraine). All the examined fruits have been detained. Citrus delivery owner is obliged to carry out the refrigeration otherwise all the fruits will be returned to the country of origin (Turkey). Due to detecting of quarantine pest in Turkish fruits, Turkey has been officially notified of the incident by Ukrainian side.
