Delay in starting the 2018 campaign

 

 

At its last meeting, FEPEX's "Cherry" Committee highlighted the expected delay in most production areas. Representatives of associations from several regions (Extremadura, Aragón, Cataluña) noted a delay of about 15-20 days for the beginning of the campaign. But other regions with lower production levels, such as Alicante, will benefit from a normal start to the season, in line with previous years.

 

 

 

With regard to the opening of new markets, the "Cherry" Committee has shown great interest in opening Asian markets. In particular China, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand. Thailand is the country with which the opening negotiations are the most advanced.
