Increase by +67% for exports

In Armenia , exports of Fruit & Vegetables are trying to break records .

The minister of Agriculture announced that already 68,400 tons of fresh fruits & vegetables were exported. These volumes , stopped in November , already far exceed those of last year in the same period : 40,900 tons. An increase of + 67%.

This growth concerns a large number of products : 10,500 tons of exported grapes ( against 5870 tons last year ) , 980 tonnes of exported apples ( against 16 tons ) , 210 tons of dates ( against 63 tons), 10,100 tons cabbage ( against 1965 tons), 2770 tons of radishes ( against 750 tonnes).

These exports mainly took destinations to : Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan , Belarus and Iran.
