The first edition of the first Cuban Food fair

Feria Alimentos-Cuba will be the first exhibition dedicated to the sectors Food / Drinks organized in Cuba.

 

 

Cuba imports over 80% of its needs. The US is already the 4th Cuban provider and the first in terms of food. Much of the canned food and frozen products sold on the island is "Made in USA".

 

With a list of priority imports including food, the Cuban government has also established 15 major projects concerning the food sector. These projects include the development of production of citrus and fresh fruit, the development of agro-industrial production of citrus and fruits in Contramaestre area increase and diversify production and packaging of Fruit & Vegetables in the factory Conchita.
