Xinjiang produce honored at the Shanghai Fruit Expo 2025
The 2025 Xinjiang Fruit Promotion Event (Shanghai) took place from 27-29 August the 2025 China International Fruit Expo in Shanghai, serving as a key event within the exhibition.
Jointly organized by the largest Chinese retail group CR Vanguard Commercial Technology and its Xinjiang Branch, the promotion event was co-hosted by Shanghai Maoheng Exhibition Co. during the China International Fruit Exhibition in Shanghai. It aimed to introduce Xinjiang's premium fruits to the nation and the world.
Fruits from Xinjiang province: treasures of the Silk Road
Situated at the heart of the ancient Silk Road, Xinjiang province hast abundant sunshine and distinctive diurnal temperature variations nurture exceptional fruits of unique flavour, including Hami melons, grapes, figs, and fragrant pears. Turpan, particularly, is celebrated as the ‘Land of Fruits’. Its grapes, renowned for their thin skins and plump flesh, have long been regarded as a ‘symbol of sweetness’ by consumers both at home and abroad.
