Sharp drop in Peruvian watermelon exports

According to the Agrodata portal, the main destinations of these supplies in the first semester of 2021 were Ecuador ($1,420,000) and Chile ($385,000).
Peruvian watermelon exports between January and June 2021 totaled 8,733,818 kilos, for a FOB value of $ 1,809,517. It is a significant decrease from the 13,412,015 kilos exported in the same period of the previous year for $ 3,173,651.
