Veiling Hoogstraten sales of strawberries are growing steadily, exceeding 30 million kg of mainly the Elsanta variety.
Veiling Hoogstraten has passed 30 million kg of strawberries sold on Wednesday, November 28.
Veiling Hoogstraten had never sold so many strawberries in one year: in 2011 it sold 27.5 million
kg of strawberries and 25.5 million kg in 2010.
