Banana supplier Chiquita has increased its prices in Europe and The US.
The increases are designed to offset the negative impact of a change in the tariff and quota regulations.
Chiquita raises banana prices in response to higher tariffs.
Year on year prices were up by about 1 percent in The US, and an average of 5 percent in the EU.
