Supervalu opens first organic store

US grocer Supervalu has opened its first Sunflower Market store, a cut-priced natural and organic foods outlet. This first store is located in Indianapolis and carries between 8,000 to 12,000 product SKU's. If the concept is successful, Supervalu plans to open 50 such stores in the next five years.
