The export of Turkish olive oil in decrease

According to the Turkish Exporters Council's data , olive oil was exported for a value of a little less than $ 5 million , while in 2013 during the same period, the figure was around 15 million dollars.
Despite the decline in exports, the average price of the kilo of olive oil rose from $ 0.32 to $ 3.28 per varil and from 0.55 dollars to $ 4.38 dollars per box.
The export was made to 44 countries, and particularly to the Middle East countries with Saudi Arabia in the lead. Japan is second , followed by Iraq and China.
Germany is the only European country to import Turkish olive oil but with a significant decrease from the previous year.
