Exports could total 2 billion this year

With a rate of exports increase at 116% Vietnamese Fruit & Vegetable could reach sales of $ 2 billion this year.

In the first nine months of 2015, Fruit and Vegetable exports achieved a turnover of 1.3 billion USD. An increase of + 116% compared to the same period of last year. Experts now estimate that the sector will reach $ 2 billion this year.

Vietnam exports to 40 countries worldwide. China remains the No. 1 customer with a volume representing 64.2% of total exports but Vietnam is increasing its marketing efforts in different markets (USA, Australia, Japan and European Union).
