2 new partners come to reinforce IFORED

IFORED is a unique organization in the world to advance the industry and selecting varieties for the future.

IFORED, the international consortium for the launch of red-fleshed exceptional varieties, saw the integration of two new partners:
- Red Apple Germany (RAG), a subsidiary of DOSK, the R & D Consortium of nine major German cooperatives of apples (ELO, Elbe-Obst, MAL, VEOS, Landgard, VOG, GMO, MABO and WOG).

- Johnny Appleseed, producer and distributor for 5 generations, leader in the New Zealand market of temperate fruits with Yummy brand.

With these two newcomers the IFORED partners control 55,000 acres of apple orchards and market more than 3 million tons of apples per year.

"Our group is already mature and it operates exceptionally well," announced Bruno Essner, the President of IFORED. "IFORED is composed of producers and distributors from around the world who have the ability to exploit this potential and successfully launch these highly innovative apple varieties."

The IFORED Consortium, created in 2012, currently comprises 14 ditributors from 5 continents:

EUROPE: AMG (Gerfruit and Mesfruit), France; Blue Whale, France; Empire World Trade, Great Britain; Fenaco, Switzerland; NovaMela (VOG, VIP, Melinda, The Trentino, Rivoira), Italy; Nufri, Spain; Red Apple Germany, Germany; Worldwide Fruit, Great Britain. NORTH AMERICA: Next Big Thing, the United States and Canada.
