Mexico and the United States remain the main destination.
Peru exported US$97.0 million worth of whole paprika between January and November 2025, with volumes totalling 34,351 tonnes, reports Agrodata Peru.
Exports were lower than in the same period of 2024, when revenues reached US$136.5 million on 37,091 tonnes. The average export price in 2025 stood at US$2.82 per kg, down from US$3.68 per kg a year earlier.
Shipments were spread fairly evenly across the year, with stronger volumes recorded between February and May. November exports amounted to US$6.2 million on 2,073 tonnes, reflecting a softer finish to the season.
Mexico and the U.S. dominate destinations
Mexico was Peru’s main market for whole paprika, absorbing US$53.0 million, or 55 percent of total export value. The United States followed with US$32.3 million (33 percent), confirming North America as the core outlet.
Spain ranked third with US$9.6 million (10 percent), while smaller volumes were shipped to Guatemala, Germany and other destinations.
Lower prices compared with 2024 weighed on export value, despite relatively stable shipment volumes.
