In the first half of 2022, Peru exported 64,172,435 kilos of fresh onion worth $19,009,886, according to the latest report from the Agrodata Peru portal.
These figures reflect a significant decrease in both volume and value compared to what was achieved in the same period of 2021, when supplies of said product totaled 87,375,985 kilos for $28,327,958.
The main destinations for the Peruvian onion from January to June 2022 were the United States, Colombia, Spain, the Netherlands, Chile, Ecuador, Bolivia, among others.
