Google is now aiming the delivery of fresh products
FJ
Google is testing in California (Los Angeles, San Francisco) its new delivery service of fresh produce.
Google Express, the delivery service launched a few months ago , and only proposed non-perishable products. Google Express now offers home delivery of fresh products (fruits , vegetables, meat , dairy products) the same day. For now , only a few neighborhoods of Los Angeles and San Francisco can benefit.
Unlike AMAZON which has deployed dedicated cold storage , Google wants to deliver directly from the sites of its trading partners ( COSTCO , WHOLE FOODS MARKET , SMART & FINAL STORE, VINCENTE FOODS )The minimum order is 35 USD and the service costs $ 2.99 to subscribers and $ 5 for casual users .
