The citrus season continues in Turkey

After some varieties of lemons, Satsuma and Riored pomelo, it is now the turn of  Marshseedless and Rubyred pomelos to be marketed.

In fact, according to the commission responsible to determine the ripeness of fruit, these varieties of pomelos can be collected in the southeast of Turkey, the ??most important area of  pomelo production of Turkey, starting from 28 of October to be exported from November 2, 2013, two days later than last year.

Last season, 24 percent less pomelos were exported compared to 2011-2012. Exporters predict that this season should be better.
