The avocado market has remained very satisfactory and under supplied.
Hass arrivals have continued to decrease and have reached a level 30% below the average since both Peruvian and South African deliveries have kept their downwards trend. Hence, prices for this variety have been firmer this week and have now reached a level 41% above the average.
The very first Chilean volumes entered the market this week but were held by few operators. Green supply has remained stable.
While Kenyan volumes have continued to decrease, those from SAR have kept the same level as last week (30% below average), but volumes from Peru have continued to develop. In this context, prices have also continued to strengthen.
