Drop in open field salads

This year, open field salad production would be down 15% whereas the one under glass would remain stable. Regions the most affected by this drop are : Bretagne (9,5 million salads in 95/96 against 3 million in 2000/2001), Rhône-Alpes and Val de Loire (13,1 million salads in 95/96 against 6,1 in 2000/2001). As for Provence and south west, they get specialised in under glass salads.
