Fedefruta chose a new president

José Antonio Walker, new president of Fedefruta.

The national Federation of fruits of Chile producers (Fedefruta) elected his new president.

The Council of Federation approved by voice vote a consensual list, dominated by producers of South of the country.

José Antonio Walker Prieto, President of the company Fruséptima, was chosen at the head of Fedefruta, succeeding Rodrigo Díaz Echeverría.

The new management wishes to continue the pursuit of the Federation objectives:

- improve the labor-management dialog of the sector of fruits and vegetables,

- Strengthen the work and the promotion of products with the exporters,

- Promote the innovation and increase the competitiveness of the sector.
