From January to November 2025, the United States accounted for the majority of exports.
Peru exported 92,897 tonnes of fresh asparagus from January to November 2025, a 3 percent increase compared with the same period in 2024. Over the same timeframe, export value fell 7 percent to US$343.9 million FOB, while the average export price dropped 10 percent to US$3.70 per kg, according to a recent report by Agrodata.
Export volumes were highest between June and October, with October recording the largest shipments at 13.8 million kilos. Despite higher volumes, prices remained lower than in 2024 in most months, limiting overall export returns.
The United States accounted for the majority of exports, with shipments valued at US$227.8 million in January–November 2025, compared with US$274.9 million a year earlier. Spain ranked second with US$39.5 million, followed by the United Kingdom and the Netherlands.
