Plums Import volumes decline in Russia

According to the official data, plums import volumes have skid down by 15% in Russia this month. Based on the recent information, Russia has imported only 2 000 tons of plums in November, while last year figures went up to 14 000 tons of this kind of fruits. Import decrease could be traced to lack of plums supply from EU and Moldova. Overall total amount of plums imported to Russian fruits market during January-November 2014 period comprises 42 000 tons.
