Russia probably stops import of stone fruits from the Netherlands

The Russian ban for import of stone fruits from the Netherlands probably will be obliged from the end of May 2009.

 

 

How said Director of Frugi-Venta Willem Baljeu “presently last the negociations between both countries as for the final date of ban. Present deliveries of fruit to Russia until the deadline will be carried out without any problems. The date of ban was earlier fixed for mid-April but it was again delayed for the end of May".

 

 

The Netherlands wish to solve this problem on EU level.
