The Philippines plans to use Green X Expo 2027 in Yokohama to promote its horticultural products, attract investment and develop international partnerships.
The Philippines is preparing to showcase its horticultural sector at Green X Expo 2027 in Yokohama, Japan, as the government seeks to expand overseas sales and attract investment into agriculture.
The Department of Agriculture launched the country's participation at the Pagsibol 2026 Philippine Horticulture and Urban Agriculture Summit, where it unveiled the theme for the Philippine Pavilion: “Bukás: Gardens of the Bayanihan Spirit.”
The expo will run from 19 March to 26 September 2027. The Philippine presentation is expected to highlight the country's horticultural heritage and biodiversity, alongside efforts to develop regenerative and climate-resilient farming.
The government also intends to use the event to build partnerships and encourage investment and innovation across the sector.
For Philippine growers and exporters, the exhibition offers a platform to present domestic horticultural capabilities to international audiences while exploring opportunities to strengthen commercial links with Japan.
