10% increase planned for the production of kiwifruit

The latest estimates predict a 10% increase in production of kiwifruit in Chile.

The Kiwi del Committee expects to produce 195,000 to 200,000 tons, an increase of 10% compared to last season, which had reached 176,400 tons.

This forecast is based on information gathered by the Committee with Kiwi del sector companies. No major frosts, favourable weather followed by high fertility of the buds, explain this growth in production.
