2018 production of 12,000 tonnes for the JULIET apple

JULIET is the only apple in the world produced exclusively in organic farming. Its production is steadily increasing and 12 000 tonnes are expected for the 2018 harvest and 16 000 tonnes planned for 2020.

 

 

 

JULIET benefits from a development strategy based on the commitment of all the partners, from nurseries to distributors. The producers of Juliet® and the ESCANDE nurseries have come together in an association: "Les Amis de Juliet®".

 

 

 

The association currently includes more than 110 producers from all major French arboreal regions (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions, PACA, Occitania, New Aquitaine, Loire Valley Center), apple orchards JULIET extend over 390 hectares.

 

 

 

For this 2018 season, the first pickings are scheduled for early October, and the marketing scheduled for October 18. Thanks to a partnership with CARDELL Export, the apple specialist in the world, Juliet® apples are distributed to a large number of consumers.
