High quality pears supply goes down in Poland

Based on the latest data, supply of high quality pears has gone down in November 2014 within Polish fruits market. At the current moment this kind of pears is available at approximately 0,3 – 0,5 EUROkg. It stands to mention that due to exhausted stocks of imported pears, local farmers tend to increase fruits prices. In the meantime, despite limited supply and high demand for pears, local whole sale fruit companies refuse to raise purchase costs. This could be traced to poor quality of local pears available.
