According to the government of the region of Saint Peterburg, the facility is planned to be erected near an existing production site in the Vsevolzhsky district. Currently, 1,400 tons of mushrooms and 200 tons of shiitake are grown in the region.
The first stage of the project (5,000 tons of production) is due to be completed in 2018 and the second stage (10,000 tons) by 2019. VYBORGEC plans to reach the planned capacity and occupy a good part of the mushroom market.
