The rainfall in the region of Granada will affect the campaigns of asparagus and artichokes
The rainfall in the region of Granada affect agricultural production.
UPA (Unión de Pequeños Agricultores) confirmed "significant loss" for harvest of asparagus and artichokes: rains cause disease and delay the harvest.
As for the asparagus, the beginning of the campaign was expected in late February, but this precipitation postponed it to the end of March. As for artichokes, humidity caused severe bouts of illness and should lead to a decline in production.
