Exports: increase in volume and value

Production is expected to increase further and therefore increase Iranian exports (photo tehrantimes com).
Remarkable results for Iranian exports of agricultural products, which recorded increases in volume (+ 21.77%) and in value (+ 3.61%).
The Ministry of Agriculture announced that the country exported 5.81 million tons of agricultural products worth USD 5.688 billion in the Iranian calendar year 1395 (March 2016 to March 2017). These exports show an increase of 21.77% in volume and 3.61% in value compared to the previous year.
Production is promising and the country is expected to reach 22 million tons of horticultural products by the end of the current calendar year (March 20, 2018), according to a Ministry of Agriculture official.
